What is Bowen River Utilies?

Bowen River Utilities, previously Urannah Water Scheme, will secure water for North Queensland with a new dam, renewable energy hub, two pipelines and irrigation scheme.

About the project

The project is being led by Bowen River Utilities in collaboration with the Bowen Collinsville Enterprise.

A preliminary business case has been completed and a detailed business case is currently underway.

The project team is committed to ongoing engagement with the local community, traditional owners and businesses.
